Modern lifestyle requires modern nutrition approaches. Our work hours are becoming ever so long, and most jobs nowadays turn into sitting in front of a screen for at least 8 hours, with a lunch break. And what do we do when we get home – we sit in front of a screen, being it TV, a phone, or a computer.

Well, I’ve decided to break that cycle off. The journey started once I realized how much excess calories I’ve begun consuming. Working as an editor (mainly proofreading), I developed some unhealthy habits that needed to go away ASAP. My body was in ruins. Bringing my work home only put more strain on my already messed up schedule, so naturally, pragmatic as I am, I looked for convenient solutions.

That is when I discovered juicing.

Somewhere at the back of my mind, I always thought that juicers were way too expensive, and to a degree, ineffective. However, the tech behind juicing changed drastically, and making your own fresh glass of OJ became affordable and accessible. So, after giving it some thought, I’ve decided to put the pedal to the metal and start researching.

On this journey, I learned more about myself than about juicing. I obtained a new taste for fruits, veggies, and nuts, and ultimately, my body started repairing itself. I managed to eliminate unhealthy snacks from my diet, and exercising became possible again. In short, juicing brought me closer to my former goals – to eat better, sleep better, and finally get back in the gym. My mind became sharper as well, and I invested more time into learning about nutrition, micro and macronutrients, and much, much more.

My Goals

In short, I want to spread the word about homemade juices, and teach people that using a juicer isn’t as complicated as it used to be. Nowadays, technology has become so intuitive and intelligible that anyone can use a juicer with no previous experience (but keep your juicer away from kids).

The blogs, guides, and reviews I offer you on are a summary of everything I learned throughout my journey. Of course, I will update you every time I’m done with researching a new aspect of juicing. If you do opt for this super-convenient way of ingesting nutrients, there will be rookie mistakes, and you will throw a batch or two of freshly squeezed juice away. But don’t let that discourage you.

I leave you with everything I gathered over the years, nutrition advice included. It doesn’t take a lot of time to get a grasp on the whole concept of juicing, and, in the long run, you will thank yourself for starting in the first place. This is just a part of the process, though. As I mentioned, healthy eating, regular sleep, and active exercising are all a part of the journey to a better, healthier self.

If you are reading this, it means that you’ve already set yourself on the path to understanding your own body better, and giving it the nutrition it so desperately needs. Now, let’s make that change, and invest in a healthier future together. Welcome to!
